The Untouched World Of Mysteries #3

"I'm sorry, Guardian Iyala, but you are not allowed here." A wolf guard shrugged at Iyala.
"Please, can you just let me go in and see Cle..." pleaded Iyala, but was cut short.
"No, please leave." The guard said in harsh tone and growled at her.

Iyala said nothing, turned around to not let the guard see her tears forming at the edge of her eyes, and ran down the stairs of clouds leading to the Cloud Realm, her wheat colored hair flying behind her.


Its been a month since Clearsky came down to see me, and I had went up a million times... I wonder what happened? Is he still fine? thought Iyala while munching on some berries she collected and sitting down on the field of paddy. 


Silence.

Tears slowly dripped down onto her dress, despite her efforts to pull it back. She missed him, she missed him terribly. She missed the times when she and he will roll down the plains, competing who will be the first to finish. She missed the times when Clearsky took care of her when she was dreadfully ill and couldn't get up on a rainy day. She wanted him here, by her side, talking to her, laughing with her. She cried even harder while thinking about this, the pain was too much for her to bear. Mist started enveloping around her, until it was so foggy, she couldn't make out anything in front of her.

Now, she was scared. She was all alone, and Clearsky had warned her that many dangers lurked around.

'Shaa~shaa~shaa~'
Her ears tensed on point, as she whipped around to see who was there. But there was no one, or so she think. The fog was too thick.

'SHAA~SHAA~SHAA~!'
She was now standing, looking around in horror. She was now silently praying that Clearsky would come down to help her, but she knew it wouldn't happen. He left her, in times of when she needed him, she thought she remembered him saying before he will always be there for her...?

'Kaar~~~!'
There was this strange sound from nowhere, now it was dead quiet, and Iyala now snapped back to reality.

She turned around, just in time to see a creature, or a beast, pounce on her.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Iyala screamed in a high pitched voice as she fell down to the ground.

'DUSH!'

Iyala opened one eye, and she saw the creature, which she know identified it, is a Regerant, a creature which is half dragon half lion, wounded at a side. There was someone next to her, panting heavily. She jerked up to see a young man, armed with a club, looking at the direction of the Regerant. He noticed her, and then turned to look at her.

"Are you ok, miss?" His voice was light and quick, and he had a worried look on his face as he held out a hand to her.
Iyala clearly rejected it, by standing up on her own and dusting off dust from her dress. "Who are you?"
"Oh, well I am just a man who've been staying here in Manatoki for quite some time already. My name's Samuel." He smiled nervously.

"Samuel, hum? Why are you here?" She narrowed her eyes in suspicion. 
"Oh, I just wandered off here, and well knew a lot of things here. Who are you?"

"Iyala, Guardian of the Plains." Iyala replied, "Anyways, thanks for saving me."
"Oh, I don't mind, let me treat your injury."
"Injury?" When she looked down, then she only noticed that she had scraped her knee, and it was bleeding profusely. "Oh..."
"Lets first find some shelter, we cannot be seen by other dangerous creatures."

"Oh, alright then... Wait a minute!!" She yelped while jerking away from him, "What makes you think I thrust you!!"
"Well, you seemed lonely, so I'll just accompany you for the moment." He shrugged, looking confused,but something about his look doesn't match his tone now.
"Stay away!" She growled at Samuel which is now shifting closer to her, "I warn you!" She flashed her teeth menacingly.
"Now now, why are you running away from me? I won't bite, I just want you to stay by my side..." He grinned in a very creepy way, while snickering, coming even closer to Iyala as she backed away even faster.

"STAY AWAY!!" She turned and while turning into a fox, ran to the forest in horror.
"You can't hide from me... I know this place longer than you know it."


'Pant...Pant...Pant...'
Iyala had ran deep into the forest, almost even reaching the Water Realm. He won't come now is it?

Something grabbed her from behind, she turned around to see Samuel's sinister looking face, as he strangled her, rising her off the ground, choking her.
"Now, it will be a pity if I kill you here now and then is it?" He grinned as he watched gleefully as Iyala coughed up blood.
"W-W-WHAT DO YOU WANT!!" She screamed.
"What do I want? Well, we shall see then..." 

Then before she could reply, he knocked her out, as Iyala fell to the ground, unconscious.
